Terms of use for the SneakPen app

These terms cover the SneakPen web app: the editor, its templates and its export features. They do not cover orders from our store, which are governed by our terms of service and our refund policy.

By using the app, you accept these terms. If you don't, simply stop using it: there is no account to close. If you are under 13, use the app with the agreement of a parent or guardian.

The app is not a cloud service. Everything you type is saved in your browser's local storage, on the device you are using. It is not uploaded, and we never see it.

Because nothing leaves your device, we cannot see or recover your notes. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing or removing the app deletes them for good, and another phone or browser starts empty.

Use Export JSON to keep a copy, and Import to restore it. That file is your only backup.

You keep all rights to what you write. We claim nothing over it, and we never see it. You are responsible for what you create and print with the app, and for using it lawfully.

The app exports your strip as a PDF. To print it, open the PDF in the FunPrint app and print it on the pocket printer. FunPrint is a third-party app with its own terms.

The app is free and provided as it is. Your browser, your device and its storage affect how it works, and they are not ours.

We reserve the right to change the app, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop offering it, we announce it on this page.

The app, its design, its wording, its templates and its code belong to SP Technologies Limited. The SneakPen name and logo are ours.

You can use the app for your own needs. You must not copy it, resell access to it, or present it as your own product.

We do not promise that the app will be free of faults, that it will work on every device, or that a print will always match your screen.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost notes, failed prints or any indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim where you live.

We update these terms when the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
